• Service Delivery: To provide, maintain and improve our live-streaming services. This includes processing reports and, if necessary, using captured screenshots to investigate violations.
• Safety, Moderation & Child Protection: Verifying age restrictions, investigating reported streams, blacklisting unauthorized underage users and enforcing streaming bans.
• Geographic & Area Restrictions: Geofencing sensitive public and private zones to prevent broadcasts from or into designated areas.
• Account & Transaction Management: Processing subscriptions and credit balances through third-party payment providers.
• Platform Security: Preventing fraud, spam, automated abuse, and unauthorized platform access.

3. Protection of Minors & Kids Block Requests

CamRequest is strictly intended for individuals 18 years of age or older. We do not knowingly allow minors to broadcast or use the platform.

• Age Misrepresentation: In the event that a minor circumvents age restrictions by entering an inaccurate date of birth, parents or legal guardians may submit a formal request via our Kids Block Request Form.
• Information Handled: We collect the parent/guardian’s contact details, the minor's platform identifiers (Username and User ID), and birth date verification details.
• Action Taken: Submitted data is utilized strictly by authorized safety administrators to locate the account, immediately terminate active sessions and block the user ID/device from the platform.
• Retention of Form Submissions: Parent contact and block request records are retained only as long as necessary to enforce the ban and ensure audit compliance.

4. Location Privacy & Area Block Requests (Geofencing)

To safeguard community privacy and the integrity of sensitive environments (such as schools, daycare centers, playgrounds, and restricted private/public zones), CamRequest provides an area-exclusion mechanism.

• Area Exclusion Requests: Individuals, institutions, or property owners can request geographic blocks by submitting an Area Block Request.
• Implementation: Once verified, our system creates digital geofences around the designated coordinates. The platform’s location engine prevents users from initiating or accepting live-stream requests within the blocked perimeter.
• Data Processing: Coordinates and descriptive boundary data submitted through the form are processed solely to establish and maintain active exclusion zones in our database.

5. Moderation and Evidence Capture

To ensure the integrity of CamRequest, we implement a reporting system.

• Evidence: When a user is reported, the system generates a screenshot of the stream as evidence.
• Processing: This data is processed based on our Legitimate Interest to prevent abuse and maintain platform security.
• Access: Only authorized system administrators and internal moderators have access to these snapshots.

6. Data Storage and Minimization

We prioritize data minimization:

• Downscaling: Screenshots are processed and downscaled to 480p resolution to reduce data footprint while remaining sufficient for moderation.
• Retention: Snapshots are held only for the duration of the investigation. Once a report is resolved or a violation is confirmed and action taken, the image data (blob) is purged from our systems, unless it is required for ongoing legal disputes.

7. Third-Party Services

We use third-party processors, such as Stripe, to manage payments. These services have their own privacy policies regarding the handling of financial information. We do not store your full payment card details on our servers.
